increase of value

[92jclpRS]

hey all, I have a 92 eclipse RS. Since that is not very practical to "supe" up, i want to mod it to make it worth more so i can sell it and get a dsm worth suping up ( i was thinkin 95ish GST). At any rate, it got a new timing belt at 133k, I just got a new brake system, brand new ADR battle Exe rims n Falken tires, and in the next couple weeks, i will be gettin a new clutch, some sort of sweet bumper (non stock) possibly a small after market wing, and a new paint job. My dad does body work and paints.. so im capable of most suggestions. I could really use some advice as far as ideas, and how to do things. I forget who it was but whoever said that using sandpaper and a buffer to clear up the head lights was right... VERY right.. lookin like brand new. Thanks!

I'm assuming by RS that you mean that you've got the bottom of the barrel 1.8 model with no options.

Seriously, I'd clean it up as much as possible, and that's it. I would not invest ANY MONEY at all, as the car is not worth anything at all, and the money you put in it is not going to repay itself.

Try to sell it for 1000 and hope for the best.

In your mind you think "oh it's faster and better" To every other normal person they think "Kid has been ####ing around with it and doing stupid shit in it."

When you are selling a car to get the most out of it TYPICLY stock is better. Just give it a good detail job and tuch up on any places that need it. Maybe get the door handels painted and better rims like from a GS and sell that bi***.
