Headlights

Doe's anyone know what it would take to switch to the US style headlight? Mine stay one all the time (Canadian model) #hit I never have to turn them on. Why do I even have a headlight stalk? Key goes in lights go on. I guess they call it day time running lights.

hmmm there is a solenoid in the passenger side that make the light go on when the car runs. Since the law passes in 1992 here in canada to make the new car comes out with daylight mitsubishi had to adapt but didnt had the time to do real daylight so they just putted a solenoid to make them on all the time. I will check and try to come out with an answer for you.

Thanks I spent $120 CND on PIAA lights. The less they have to be on the better.
