gauge cluster backround light?

my gauge cluster light is dim between 100 and 140 mph. i pulled out my gauge cluster to run my vacuum lines and wires for my a/f gauge and boost gauge and when i put it back together it was dim, i pulled out the wires and vac hoses a put it back together and it is still dim in that spot.

anyone elce have this problem and/or know a fix for it

making sure that you are aligning it right and pushing it in all the way.

Ive reassembled it over 5 or 6 times trying different things and no matter what i do i get the same results.

The entire thing lights perfect even 100 through 160 mph on the cluster is lit it just gets dimmer through 100 to 160.

. ok, so Thru the mileage 100-160 its dimmer not when your Going 100+

one of the light bulbs is bad, pull it out again, and in the back where you think that section would be, unscrew the plastic black thing that the bulb is in, one of them is burnt out.

Eh, you can hardly take time to look at the speedo at those speeds anyway.

i think hes talking about the area on the speedometer, not when hes going that speed
