Where to get bumper covers [Merged 2-7] bumpers

I was wondering if these fit good because i was just in a accident and I really want a 97 bumper bu none is sellin a real one at the moment the only other choice i have is the evo style bumper which i can get pretty easy form someone

they fit perfect. your gonna want to get 97 headlights tho, or else there will be a little gap in between the bumper and headlight

i meant the aftermarket oem style mufflers do they fit the same as a oem

In the first post you said bumper, second post you said muffler... which do you want?

The bumper will fit perfectly. I put one on my 96 talon, and you cant tell it didn;t come with it.

I'm sure hte mufflers will fit, i dont think they were changed.

im sorry i had a long day today and i meant the bumper i did not realize what i said till after the fact. I meant the fron bumper just forget what i said about the muffler or whatever i said.

I'm thinking about converting my Talon to an Eclipse and I see "stock" front and rear bumpers for sale all over Ebay.

Like this one for Example

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these and if so what is the fit/finish and overall quality like??

I'm at the point where i'm about to spend 500 bucks a piece to buy them from the dealer but if these Ebay pieces are the same quality I will buy them.

just be careful becuz shipping is really sketchy with some of the company's....mine fitted pretty well and it came in good condition, make sure they have good feedback on shipping. I was happy with mine overall, But mine was a R34 OCTANE so i dunno about the factory ones. U should really check local salvage lots for the stock bumpers over here they sell the 2g front and back for 60$ each, and no crazy shipping charges if it's local.

That's where I got my OEM front & rear bumpers. No problems with the people I worked with.

Essentially what you see is what you get. If it's the same people, they've been selling them for years on eBay.

I would love to be able to find some bumpers in the junkyard...but even seeing a eclipse on the road is pretty rare up here in canada...

Yup I bought a front bumper there (OEM), came very quickly, great condition. Only comlaint is that the Fedex man left it on my front steps while i was at work... for 5 hours!

Yah, i got some urethane OEM replica bumpers on ebay. The place i used only charged me like 14 bucks for shipping on a 97 front bumper . Seems to be almost tougher then my OEM one. I like it.. Never dealt w/ these exact people however

The guy i got it from doesnt do regular business on ebay it looks like because he only has 8 feedback. Its been like 4 or 5 months though since I got it and he only had 0 or 1 feedback when I got it. probaly why it ended for so cheap,,around $130-140? for the new 97 bumper including shipping. He said he did own a business selling OEM body parts however,,,,

It's usually 100+ to ship bumpers to my area. I guess with the exchange rate its a little higher... but hey! at least they are shipping to canada.

I was on ebay shopping around trying to find someones used 2gb bumper and maybe find one allready white to save a little money when I came across these bumpers. They state they are not OEM, they say they are aftermarket, anybody have any suggestions on these or have useed one?

They look exactly like the oem one. I actually have a 99 GST Front bumper in Silver if your interested, i bought it to put it on my 2g tsi but im now selling the car.

you got one in silver, i need white but no biggy, how much you want and what is the condition of it? Do you have the headlights for a 97 and up or no? I live in Waukesha area so it isn't that far from monomonie falls hit me up man.

Its in pretty good condition, just needs to be repainted. The guy i bought it from also already had a front mount intercooler, so if you have one you shouldnt need to modify it. The only real marks on it are on the bottom, looks like he hit it a couple times, his car was really low. Otherwise its in great shape. I can let ya look at it sometime or i can take a few pics. They fit fine..and I recommend it..its a identical match to an OEM one. I have lined it up with my car and it fits fine.

I bought my 2Gb bumper from that same guy I believe on ebay. It fit perfectly I had no problems with it. The only difference is it says its made in Taiwan.

I have one too, the only complaint i have is that it sags a little in the center (the bottom of the mouth). But that's hardly an issue.
