Route the wires? The electric wires stay in the car. The plastic tube needs to run through the firewall. I ran mine right down the pillar, through the wheel well (behind splash guards), and in the bay that way. It looks very clean. In the Tech section of the forums, there should be a how-to about this.

what do u mean the electronic wires? My guage did come with elec. wires and a transformer b/c it glows at night but i was under the impression i had to connect those wires to tha battery somehow.

To route it through the A-pillar you need to drill holes in it but your gauge pod will cover it so it wont show. Then route it down under the dash and if you pull up some of the insulation on the firewall behind the brake pedal, you'll see a rubber gromet about an inch or so in diameter where I think it's the throttle cable that passes through the middle of it. Anyway theres more than enough space in the gromet to cut a piece out and run the vacuum hose for your gauge through it. The wires for the light don't need to be connected to the battery just splice into one the of interior lights that way it will light up with the rest of your interior at night.

My other qustion is, my boost guage is back lit with blue. Where do i tap into the electrical system to get power to it?

do you want it to dim? tap into the dimmer switch for the gauges. no dim? anything that goes on with youur headlights, like the cig lighter light, or ashtray light, or gauge lights, remember + and -

oh yeah, an easy way to run the vac hose it through the rubber boot that the spedo cable goes through... it's under/behind the dash on the driver's side... pretty accessable.
