heat extractors??

I tried searching, but only found one real match and it wasnt much help..

anyone know of a company that sells a template or a kit to put a set of heat extractors near the front of the hood on a 2g, I think it would look nice and let my engine bay breath a little better.. gets hot enough in there with FMIC restricting crap..

any ideas?

Well, going down the road, there should be plenty of air coming in through the radiators- I'd doubt when moving that those nostrils are exits, I'd expect to see air being drawn _down_into_ the engine bay through them by under-car airflow. However, as soon as you're down to.... eh, say ten miles an hour, or more importantly, stopped, those little holes ought to make a terrific chimney being so near the manifold and turbine- they should draw air from under the front bumper, under the "shelf" inside the "mouth", straight up from in front of the car. I'd love to get some yarn tufts and cigarette smoke, and see what really goes on with them.

You ever notice how few bugs hit the windshield of 2Gs? They got something pretty close to right.
