Hey guys, a lot of my rubber hoses/tubes were starting to crack so I went to pepboys and saw some after market hose kits (the ones that come in different colors) for 20$ so I bought one. Anyways, I know you shouldn't use these things for fuel lines, so I was wondering if you guys knew what the set of short, small hoses/lines on upper the intake manifold were for. I'm guessing fuel, but if not, I might as well replace some of those. Also, what's the reason that you can't use those aftermarkent hoses for fuel lines, would they melt or something?

the line on the intake manifold are vaccum line there is no gas going in there. I think they shouldnt be use on fuel line because they are made in some kind of rubber and we all know that rubber is a derivate of 'petrol'' so i guess the gas might deteriorate the line. anyway in any case dont use them on fuel line. Only put them instead of the vaccum hoses.
