Well.. I have posted on this before, and people knocked me for my color scheme... Please keep in mind that all the paint is being redone in vinyl...
Anyway.. These are pics of the carpet, seats, and panels being sound proofed..
I hope to have my interior done in the next 2 weeks...
Lemme know.. <Please keep in mind ALL the plastic in the car is being vinyled red and blue.

how hard was it to put that carpet in?
The carpet comes in a "Molded Slab"
basically, you get the seats out, rip out the old carpet, and there is quite a bit of trimming to get it in properly..
Its not too hard, you just have to get the seat bolts, etc.. poked through the carpet... and continue to trim and tuck.. its best to get all your plastics out of the way.
Its nice to get it all cleaned out, and put in some extra sound deadener, and really thick carpet pad...
My carpet is not completely done but will post more pics when done.
I can already hear the sound is MUCH MUCH better with the extra sound deadener.

Again, not feelin the red on blue but to each his own. The work itself, not focusing on the color scheme......

Looks real good, real clean. Damn- seems like new carpet makes a nice difference. I can't wait till I have some spare cash to throw some black carpet in my Eclipse.

Painting the center consol red? I hope so. Tubes look clean mounted like that, I want to see this when it's all done. Coming along nice tho'

Im getting VERY Excited.. to get this crap done.. and finally drive my car..
I am in flight school for the army, and do not have any time to work on my car..
It sucks having all the parts, and no time to do anything! (And a lazy upholsterer!)
Thx. for the feedback tho..

Actually..
You can use your existing mounts on the original seats.. theres a little bit of fab that has to go into it,.. but its doable..
Next time im @ the shop, I will get some better pics to help you out.

I can appreciate the honest opinon..
But you cant go wrong with the seats.. 300 bux shipped. For those of us that dont have all the cash in the world, should work out ok, or @ least get the effect im looking for!

oh that would be awesome, thanks. I figured you could use the factory ones, but I already threw out my passenger side seat....so I will have to make one for that side at least but drivers still in
