I was looking on Ebay and saw there were a lot of remote starters really cheap on there, some were only like $45 or so. What ones are good to buy? I didn't know if the cheap ones like that on Ebay would work fine or if they would give me problems. I don't care about the alarm or anything, just the remote start. I'm either planning to get a real cheap one on Ebay if it'll work fine or not get one at all.

If you are looking for cheap, you probably won't find one of the good name brands like DEI, Clifford, etc... The thing to look out for is the features in the system. If you drive a standard you will have to modify a switch on your car to get the starter to work.

For an example of features you might want, look at this. It's a full blown system but it will give you ideas.

That's actually the one I was looking at getting, I just didn't know if it would work or if it's just a piece of crap. Do you know anyone that's had any experience with that remote starter?
