Factory Head Unit Problem

I have a GST and awhile back I removed my factory head unit for a sony, at the same time I removed my changer and the amp underneath the passenger seat. Recently I wanted to switch back to the stock headunit and go to plug it in and i get nothing. The factory headunit has the main plug and then 2 circular pin holes on either side, one for the attenna and one for the, i think.. changer? Anyways I wanna get the factory headunit working again and was wondering if i had a faulty head unit or if im stuck with the sony forever?

did you hook up the amp as well? There as some factory head units that require the amp in order to work and since you mentioned you removed the amp I think thats your problem. If thats not the case maybe you need to put the antitheft four digit code. If this is the case do a search.

Yes i did remove the amp, and the screen to enter my lock code doesnt even come on. The headunit is completely dead. Any suggestions to make this work without using the amp?
