Question about painted rims

I just finished repainting my 97 5 spoke rims last night with duplicolor wheel coating. I didnt get a good look at them last night, but now that I see them in the light one wheel on each side looks darker than the other. If this is the case, should I restrip the wheel and start over from scratch or can I just add another coat or 2 over the clear thats on top? BTW - stripping those wheels is a pain in the a$$.

They make some stuff called acetone (you can get it at like any hardware store for like $5), it's a fiberglass solvent or something like that and it removes paint really well if you wanted to strip the paint off.

wet sand it. it should come off. acetone would work too. when you paint it do light coats. dont overspray. that's where the unevenness will show.

put the two darker ones on the same side of the car...no one will ever know the difference.

I was thinking about just switching them around so the dark ones are on the same side. I know that after a week or two I'll probably just sand the light ones down a bit and put another couple of coats on them. Thanks for the advice.
