projector headlights

i was looking to get some projector headlights for my eclipse (97 rs) and i jus wanted to know what brands are good and where to get them. tha only one i know of is tha apc ones but everyone always bashes apc products so i didnt know how good they could be. thanks for tha help.

projectors suck. nuff said. they don't light well and will leak. stick with your stock headlights, they look better any way.

i would stick wit my stock headlights but then again some a$$hole from my high school backed into me and f*ckd tha passenger side one up. thats tha whole reason im tryin to find out about projectors.

several options you can look at:

1. try and find a used 97-99 headlight
2. you can get projectors (H3)
3. you can get dual projectors which use your stock bulbs (9006, 9005)

personally, i'd go with finding a used 97-99 headlight. if you did get projectors, i'd suggest looking into some HID kits to brighten them up.

If you get projectors, be sure to get a decent set of driving lights for support. I really don't have a problem with my projectors, but I'm always driving with my PIAA 1100x driving lights on also.

They switched their layout of their site earlier this year & I couldn't read anything. My browser would highlight all the text on their site black (the only site on the entire www to do this to me). I emailed Darkone and posted my issues telling him that something is wrong in their coding of the site & all I really got was "I just plug in the information & don't troubleshoot the problems". So I stopped going there.

Actually today I just happened to check their site, and now I can navigate again. Not sure what they changed.

Get APC's gen. 2 projectors, take 9006 bulbs and are made pretty well. No leaking, cracking, or melting even w/ the 8000k hids I run. Good luck!!
