I just purchased some new gauge overlays that will make my dash blue and I have some indiglow boost and A/F gauges. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make the rest of the dash blueish instead of orange? I found an ad on DSMTRADER for a guy selling the "plans" for how to do it on Ebay for $50! Says it just takes simple hand tools and he has pictures of everything. Looks good. Anyone know how to do this? Attached is the link. *NOT promoting this guy*

i actually planned on doing the same kind of thing. all you need to do is change the bulbs behind your dash with blue bulbs. take off your dash and behind all those overlays are little bulbs you can take out

**Edit
also this is kind of a General board topic, not hangout

how many bulbs are there to replace? i cant believe he'd be charging that much, i see the little bulbs for a buck fifty sometimes

actually if you could find them at some electronic store like radioshack or something. i saw on my friends aftermarket gauge its just a white bulb and u put a colored sleeve over the bulb. its just like a colored plastic piece same shape as the bulb

I've done that to my gauge cluster without any stoopid plans.

Just get some bright blue 12V LEDs from RadioShack,
take blubs out, remove the bulb from its housing, solder LED in there and swist it back in. Looks awesome and works great.

I might snap a pic of 'converted' bulb tonight.

I took out my center console and everything around the temp controls but i cant seem to figure out how to take that part out to get to the bulbs, any help would be apriciated.
