Warped Polyurethane Blitz Front end, gross

I was just wondering if anyone else has a polyurethane blitz front end on a 2g? I guess from the hot ass weather last year it warped it, now i have a smiley face for a bottom lip. Its exposing the bottom of my fmic and makes me have about a 2 inch ground clearance in the front. is there any type of reinforcement that i can use to make it normal again?

tis the problem with urathane, it moves with the weather. Thats your choice between easily cracking, or drooping. I don't know how to help you man. Try and heat it up bend it back...??? Doubt that would work.

you might be able to put a small metal tube/bar all the way along the bottom inside the bumper... don't know what kind of room there is in there...

that might straighten it out

Yeah the bar will work, my body shop designed about 5 different custom brackets to make sure it didn't move around.

WhenI put the new nose on mine I made a bumper that goes around the opening in the nose and used it to support my nose. also made it lower so it would drag on it instead of the expensive nose! I'll try to get pics.

hey thanks for the replies guys.... Tom Sawyer, how much did the custom work cost you? That sounds like a good idea... the front is unbearably low.......
