i read a posting saying this guy had a friend who putting on a drift front on his 92 talon and siad it never fit right and had a horrible time doing it. is this true? i thought it wouldnt be to much trouble because they advertise them for the 1g's let me know if youve done it and how hard was it?

Yeah if its fiberglass most all of them need professional fitment..and most of all Urethane fit perfect..just matters how much you want to spend...and how strong and how long you want your shizznit to last..so basically Urethane all the way

I dunno about that...the few urethane kits I've installed have not had the best fitment either. And the thing with urethane is...you can't really make it fit, whereas with fiberglass you can heat it up and bend it or cut it down. So if you end up with a urethane kit that doesn't fit correctly, too bad, you're stuck with it looking that way. Only advantage with urethane is the durability.

On a side note...I would recommend against installing a kit yourself unless you can live with the fact that it won't be perfect. There's a reason shops charge so much. It's alot of work, and you really got to know what you're doing.

Uh, no offense, but how many eurathane kits have you installed?

Note I said KITS, not factory stock stuff. Eurathane kits are crap compared to a decent, quality handlaid fiberglass work. Not some cheap Taiwanese/Mexican made kit from a third generation copy of a blitz kit that hasn't had its molds changed for the last 300 copies.

Eurathane kits are screwed if they don't fit, because you can't mod plastic, and also Eurathane is impossible to repair, and also warps at high speed. Eurathane IS different than factory ABS stuff, and weighs a crapload.

Do you think C-West, Bomex, Veilside, and Do Luck, Garage Vary, Ab Flug, etc etc etc all use fiberglass for giggles on the customer? Right then.

yeah well when i had my H0nda the kit never fit right.....and it didn't at all when i ripped it off from a deer
