Door Handle Installation ###HELP###

I am going to put a new door handle on my car today. Just wondering how i would go about doing it.

Easy or Hard

I'd say it was easy but it was kind of a pain fumbling around in the door. Take of the door panel itself, find the two screws holding the door handle on. One is beside the hinge closest to the lock, and above the lock mechanism. The other sits at an angle just below the other hinge. The lock is held on to the handle with a ring that fits on the lock and holds around the lock hole, just pry it off. Finally there is a plastic clip on the hinge closest to the lock that holds on to the metal rods. The clip on my old handle just popped off but my new one had a tab you had to pull to get it off. Take old handle off and start putting new one in, connect the metal rod to the clip on the handle, put the lock back in and attach the ring, then put both scres back in and put the door panel back on. Note it may be a little different in the 2g but I'm sure its close to the same.

ive. done it several times. its a little tricky, but not hard. you should get a friend to help you with the installation. you have to remove the door panel and the mirror, and all the bolts. take out the glass (otherwise you cant get to the handle) and switch out the handles and put everything back together.
