Power windows problem

Hey guys, How's it going? I am having a bit of trouble with my power windows!!! They don't work at all. I took the switch apart and got in there with a 12 volt tester... And they have juice. There is nothing wrong with the switch(s) I even tried using a piece of wire as a jumper and still got no results. There are no blown fuses. The power doorlocks work fine just nothing from the windows. Is there a fuse I don't know about or something? Can anyone give me some advise on how to get the f*cking motors out so I can test them on the battery. I have them half way out but I can't seem to dissconnect the cables that make the window go up and down. Thanks a lot.

new master switch?

Where's the master switch? Does anybody know a somewhat easy way to get the motors out. My car is a 1990 TSI BTW. Thanks

I found out that there was a recall on a few parts in the door that go with the window. I broke down and bought a new window kit for my driver side door and I'm glad I did. If you go to the dealer and ask for it. Its a set of different things including the motor and all.
