Anyone have any combos that don't make the 2G shifter sit so damned high? On my GS-T I had the B&M SS and Greddy Knob but it sat too high still. I want something low and sporty. Anyone have pictures of their setups or tips on how to lower this baby short of cutting it and rewelding

Thanks:thumb:

From what i have se there really isn't anything lower..the best bet would be..which is effective is to cut the shifter and then thread it with a tap set or such and then reinstall and screw that back on..thats what i am going to do...If you want when I do it I will let you know how its goes..

Yes that height I'm looking for but for the manual tranny. I know on the 1G cars if you put in a 2G shifter and like a small momo knob is gets really short. But I haven't found anything that really works on the 2G cars to make them much shorter without hacking it

I took mine off, and went up to Muffler Masters and they cut an inch and a half off. It looks WAAAY better, and the best part is that i got it done to free. He told me he would do simple welds for me for free. So Its got to be the easiest mod i have ever done. Stop by some local muffler shops, it took him 2 mins.
