I was just wondering what you guys out there did, when painting your interior? what you used to paint it.
I tried a dupli-color vinyl paint, and then clearcoated it on my trunk pieces, and it bubbled up in a couple areas after sitting for a week.
I could use some help here

The most important part to painting and interior is cleaning like mad. Other than that you can use basically any paint for the hard plastic parts. I used SEM Urethane Bumper Coater for the hard parts. Use some kind of vinyl dye for the soft parts such as dash and door panels if your are going to do them. I heard that SEM Vinyl Dye is very good stuff. But ya, clean everything A LOT, clean until you think it's good then clean like 5 more times. I just used rubbing alcohol, worked well. Good luck.

Mineral spirits also works well for cleaning. SEM's vinyl die is awesome. that's what I used on mine, (the back panels are chipping because i used Krylon.. D'oh) but I agree with super95awd, NO paint will stick to something dirty/greasy so CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.
(use a brillo pad also... it helps to break stuff up..)

I used a low acid based primar on my pieces before I did them. I got it at Shermin Williams, but any paint store should sell something similar. I'm not a paint expert, so don't ask what it is. All I know is paint sticks to it really good.

i used SEM too, even on the dash. and yes, clean really well. prep is the most important part of painting.
