My front bumper is dented, cracked and falling apart. I've been looking at body kits and I'm thinking about getting the drift kit (front only). I don't care much for the rest of the kit or anyother kit availible. But I have a few questions before I buy it.

1. What are the measurements on the drift front? I want to know how much lower than stock it will be.

2. How hard is it to install on an eagle talon? Will I have to fabricate brackets or anything?

3. How reliable is importfan? I want to have my car repainted as soon as I get my tax refund.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

It is not hard at all. I have a 92 talon TSI and i also have a 91 eclipse that used to have the full drift kit on it. But when i got the talon i was going to switch everything. The drift rear of the old car and the sides were all screwed up so i just took the front off of it. I then ordered a brand new kit for my talon, so i have a drift front. I will sell it to you for $100 plus the shipping. It is not hard to install. All the companys say get them professionally put on, but unless it is just totally screwed up they are not hard. The front consists of removing the old front which you can look at the manual to see that. the bumber i have has all the holes already drilled for you cause it was on my talon. If you got mine, it would just be to set the top mounting brace of the bumper on the brace of the car(it is where your hood release is, its that long black strip) and if you get your old bumper off without braking any bolts, you can use the stock bolt with a washer, otherwise just drill it through and slide a bolt through it and slap a nut on the other end. once the center is lined up, just bring in the sides to where they look good. my bumper is already drilled. So just have someone line the bumper up with the fender, then get underneath the car and mark with a marker where the holes in the bumper are to the fender. once those are drilled then just put a bolt through and a nut on the other end. And thats it!

i just got the new kit that i ordered from Importfan. the kit wasn't bad but it took about a month to come. it went to 2 different addresses by accident before it came to me. I would watch buying from them.

just wondering why you answered this thread a year and a half later
