pretty much need to know if its safe to run this setup
Tires up front are Pirelli super sport 225/50/16s. they have i'd guess 80% tread left and are perfect.
The rears are nitto 555R drag radials 245/50/16s. on my 94 1G that has stage 2 dogbox trans with a welded center diff? thanks for your input.

no it will not be safe you cannot run different heights on an awd car...it will burn up up drivetrain parts

Exactly, this is not safe at all on an AWD car. You can do it if you don't mind spending thousands on new drivetrain parts. Just get new tires and buy the wheels cheap.

I saw the title and thought that you meant the wheels; as they are known to break. But yes the tires need to be the same diameter. and so you know you may need either a spacer or to trim the rear suspension.
