so yeah what do consider a ricer. because i love doing everything my self. i want my car to f****ng sexy at the samr time throw down some mad power. i wouldnt wanna be called a ricer for s***. so what do you think?

If you like bodykits, park benches, stickers, underglow lights, scoops, and useless gauges, you're a ricer. But it's your car. Feel free to decorate it to your choosing. Just don't bring it out or we'll laugh at you.

The way i see ricer is not that you have underglow and bodykits and yadda yada . I have a body kit and plan on under glow . It's just for show sure but the difference to me between a ricer and a car appearance enthuseist is that if you ahve a body kit and all that good stuff have the balls in your car to back up the look unlike alot of these little cavaliers that have body kits and what not. If youre car is built and has "rice" on it ... who cars if people call you rice , chances are you'll dust em

^(highlandgst) Touche, I , on the other hand, like many other dsm'ers are performance entheusiasts. Which means anything added to the vehicle that hinders performance is forbidden. Take your spoiler for example, If you ever caught me with a spoiler that big,it would for sure have a supporting parachute beneath it.

defenition of ricer varies from person to person, for example if you talk to a harley guy, no matter what you do to your car, it will always be a ricer. At the end of the day, do what you think will make if look nice and say #### you to the rest of the people.

Typing like this is a good start to being a true ricer...not searching for one of the oldest, pointless topics ever is a fantastic continuation of the trend.

I hope you can take a hint.

Tasteless body mods make you a ricer in my book. I do not like body kits one bit.

That and most ricers tend to have zero automotive knowledge and just make shit up as they go along.

That depends on the point of view.

Some people say that "rice" is everything you've added to your car, but nothing I've added to mine. :)

Or how about...

I don't know to define rice, but I'll know it when I see it.
(ala Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart describing how to recognize pornography).

Haha well look at 99gst_racer if I saw his car and didn't know him or the power the car had I would consider it ricer, but since i know the power it has and all the work that has gone into I think its a one bad ass ride LOL.

GAH! I thought I locked this.
