2g Eclipse rims trouble! HELP

hey guys,

ok i bought a set of 19" rims today.I only bought it because it was too cheap. I got them for $300 . they are ASA rims 19" mounted on almost new pirelli tires.So today i tried to put them on my car, and......the tires touch my suspension. i kinda has a big tire not a low profile one i think. The tire size is 245/45 r19 . so my question is it i buy low profile tires would they fit nice or should i go with 18"s? the 19" looks so sick but if i wont be able to make turns right without hearing noise of tires touching. I can sell this set or trade for 18"s.


Let me know some of you guys opinion .

It will help if you post how wide the rim is and the offset. And a 245/45 tire on a 19" rim on a 2g is way to tall. Maybe 235/35.

8.50 x 19 5x114.3 diameter: 73 offset: ET40 my tires touch my suspension i think a 235/35 would be ok because there is gotta be a way for me to put 19" on a 2g eclipse right?

73 is the diameter, ET40 is the offset. Kind of high for an 8.5" rim.

so do you guys think if i get 235/35 r19 tires and get rid of my 245/45 r19 it would fit my 2g eclipse with stock suspension? i tried putting the rims but the tire touches the top metal if i gat low profile tires it wont touch, but since you guys know more than me help me out its 40 offset anyone knoes the stock rim offset? help me out guys if anyone knows if my car will fit 19"s.

I would do 235/40/19 I had 19s before and having really low pro hits bad.. just letting you know.

OK so if i get the tire you recomended i should be all set with my 19" rims with 40 offset right?
