Please help!!! audio wiring question

Ive got a 97' eclipse gs-t with the infinity package... my problem is that when i took the stock amp out to get ready for my new head unit, none of the speakers wires coming out of the amp matched the colors of the wires going into the speakers. which colors go to which???? speaker wire going into my right door speaker is black, black with a white stripe... there is nothing of that color coming out of the amp harness. This really concerns me. Please help, anything would be greatly appreciated.

come on guys, i know theres one guy out there that knows something about this stuff. i really dont want to have to re wire the whole car. please somebody, give me a site or something, all i need is colors, or an object where the wires go through

why did you take out the stock amp for a new head unit?

Use a 9volt battery and test the wires to see where each speaker is at. It will make a little pop.

ive already tried using a 9 volt battery on every wire coming out of the amp... none of them work. ive also hooked up the new head unit and plugged the speaker wires from the head unit to all wires from the amp... not a sound. and i have the infinity package, just to clarify that again. I took the amp out because its no good, my new head unit puts out twice as much rms power as the amp. i need to know if there is another hunk of wires somewhere else in the car. it seems like the amp wires go somewhere else before they turn into the speaker wires. i say this because the wires from the speaker are not the same colors as the ones coming from the amp. my big question.... does anyone have a color code????? ive really got no clue what im looking at.

Your a god!! thanks for the diagram. mitsubishi is really ####ed up. they've got no clue what they're doing, you think they could color code everything. well thanks anyway man. My friend said i should add, i'll suck your dick... but that seemed a little ####, thanks anyway

Yeah, the whole "Premium Factory Sound" ends up screwing you in the end. Sounds nice for a while, but you have to upgrade that stuff eventually; and then it's suck city.

I haven't finished mine yet (damn bellow 0 degrees weather).
