Well, during the winter season here in Chicago when we had ice rain one day I slid down a ramp at my work and slammed the back end into a pole. I don't have a picture of it yet but here is the approximate spot where it hit (in the yellow) and the orange line across the back light is where the light cracked.
Now, the car is still driveable but it is pushed in pretty bad and me and my friend tried to bang it out but because it is at the end of where the rear quarterpanel ends and right by where the gas tank opening is, there is extra reinforcement making it very hard to do. I was thinking of taking it to a shop to have them fix it but I really doubt they can get it back to the quality that I would want it at. I just recently saw a post of someone selling their 2g body with a blown motor around here for $500. So now my question is....if the body of that car that he is selling is in a good condition to where I would like it to be, would I be better off buying that and just swapping everything out or should I just take my money to a body shop to have them fix it? I figured that the body shop would charge much more than $500 to fix it so that is why I am asking you guys to see if you have any experience with this.
