fuses

Hey everyone. ...I plan on installing sidemarkers on my 91 eclipse. I want them wired to a switch so i can turn them off and on at my own will. Of course I plan on adding a fuse to the power line. My question what should the fuse be rated at? On more question. What happens if the fuse rating is higher than needed. Thanks

it wwould be fine with anything likea 5-10, sidemarkers do not draw that much voltage to blow anything that high

what if i were to use a 20 amp fuse. what would happen?im just asking.

if you used a 20 amp fuse then it would prolly never pull enough power to blow it.
