Do they sell blacked out reverse lights for the 2gb or is nightshade my only option?

So is that just how the stock reverse lights look under black.. or does the paint actually have a red tint to it?

That's just how they look with stock incandescent bulbs. There's no red tint. You can however swap out your stock bulbs for those hyper white cheapos that are all over Ebay, don't know if they'll make a difference though especially with the NightShades.

Yeah I like it as well I have never seen a spoilers spyder before though

yeah, sure you can! If you want to delete your tail lights all together... That paint that guy used is transparent... its a tinted clear coat! If you spray your tail lights with black spray paint.... you will delete your tail lights all together... Here is what I did to my tail lights one time with just black spray paint....

In all honesty, it wasn't my idea to begin with. If you search around for LED Tails on here, you'll find a black talon that did some led tails, and it kinda gave me the idea of how I painted mine just to ad some what of a sexy flare to it... I loved them..

Lacquers dry very quickly, to a shiny finish. Hot Rodders use lacquers to get that high gloss show car finish on their rides.

People have used it for tinting lights, when sprayed thinly, in the past. Your local paint store will probably carry an assortment of lacquer paints. HoK and PPG also carry lacquers. Buy an ounce or two, and spray it against a clear lens of some sort and check it out. It may be what you are looking for, it may not.

You will need lacquer thinner for thinning and cleanup. Other thinners and spirits won't work.

Here is mine i used vht nite shades but i painted mine from the inside so i still have the stock clear ..

NICE DUDE!

dikdiamond, I dont want nightshade... I dont want a tinted transparent color. I want a red transparent color... But not any more... I was using it for my Reverse Fogs... But now that I have EDM Tails, I dont need to do it any more. But I might do some Nightshade to my EDM Tails, like 97 4g63 did... From the inside so the stock clear coat is being used... seems like the best way to tint oem tails..
