Projectors Problem(yes another one)

alright, I did some searching and came up empty. Maybe i'm just blind, or maybe it's because it's 2 am, but here goes. So I just got my new projectors in, converting my 96 talon to a 98 eclipse(so original, i know) heh, but anyways, now that I have my projectors, I spliced all the wires, and also the harness that comes out of my car, I just took off the connector all together off my cars harness, and spliced those wires to connect it to my headlight. Well, I can get light, usually one of either high or low beam, but not both. If I turn on my high beams, nothing happens, or with some of the connections that I have used, it says on my dash that it is a constant high beam, and I cannot turn that off. I really appreciate anyone's help, Thanks

Most people don't understand that the headlights use a common hot connection (black) between both the low and high beam bulbs. Both bulbs get power when you turn on the low beams but the high beams won't light up until they also get a ground path connection inside the car when you pull the lever.

Wire color codes mentioned only apply on the headlight harness itself, not on the chassis wiring.
