So I was taking off my bumper to install my FMIC (my car has seen alot of miles) but anyways I had like 7 bolts snap off. I was just wondering if anyone on here has a good way to back out old busted bolts that wont be to labor intensive. The ones that broke are pretty important because my bumper doesn't sit right at all. If anyone has experience on backing out broken bolts fill me in because I am clueless. Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply, but will this work for the smaller bolts used on the bumper assembly?

Ok yes there is an easier way to do this IF you have access to the area where the threaded parts is sticking thru. take an acetylene torch set up and using the brazing tip heat the threaded area of the bolt up until it is cherry red and then using a pair of small vise grip grab the thread stud and TURN it clockwise thru like you were still tightening the bolt, since the head has already snapped off the stud will now screw all the way thru. Again this has worked for me numerous times with the dreaded 10 mm mitsu snap off bolts(one use only bolts!!! LOL this is one of my most pet peeves) if you look at a 10mm wrong it breaks off! anyhow hope this helps

I broke all 4 of my bumper-to-fender bolts awhile ago. Drill and tap like everyone else does.

I just used zip ties :p

Eeeek, I just drill and tap. In the future spray the bolts with pb blaster a day before you plan on removing them, pb blaster works like a charm 9 times out of 10. once you get the bolts out put anti-seize on the threads so you don't have that problem again.
