Hey guys I am planning to re-do my entire interior from the ground up. I'm going to be honest, the dash is getting butchered in place of fiberglass. It will require lots of downtime and fabrication.

So I figured I'd buy a spare dash from someone, somewhere, and build off that. Then when I'm done just swap it into the car and sell my old dash...

My buddy is a VERY smart guy wehn it comes to cars, and he claims doing the dash swap would be a bigger pain in the ass then it's worth. Apparently there are a shitton of wires and electricals that "you do not want to mess with"... So, it is discouraging but he's just looking out...

ANyone done this? How hard? I know where to find the 'how-to' write up, and can probably do it, but honestly guys, what the 411 on the dash swap? Any regrets? Hard to do? Decieving? Thanks for any input..
