Removing and Installing a Back Glass

I found an entire Hatchback (that has a dent in it) but has a prefect back glass in it. My defroster lines are shot on my car so i was wondering if anyone had any hints / tips / or advise for removing a glass and reinstalling it.

Your insurance should cover it, I think you get 1 free windshield a year whether it be front or back. Call up your insurance company tell them someone smashed it and see if they cover it. If they do make sure you tell them it has rear defrost.

Call a auto glass specialist, they usually send someone out to your house to do it for you. My buddy had one done for $75 and it only took a few minutes.

Usually this is only for full coverage insurance, and it depends on the company.
However with allstate, I know you can have basic insurance with glass coverage.
