Finally got my system.

The bass inside is awesome. It's enough to give you a headache in no time.

Thanks everyone. I'm still waiting for the sub grills (painted silver like my car) so it's gonna look a lil bit nicer when i get those put on.

Nope. Had a place down the street do it for me. I would love to learn how to do it though if I had someone to teach me.

The HU is great. I really don't have too much to compare it to but it works great and loads mp3's pretty quick too. Everything is pretty simple to use too.

Looks good, but the enclosure looks way too small for L7's. What's the volume of each sub enclosure?

Not sure about the volume...The box isn't too big but its sealed so i guess that's why it's so 'small'

it doesent look small it probobobly goes deep into the trunk
most stereo shops make boxes to size when they make them unless you go to some cheap ass place, that was probbobly a fairly expensive install alone....

I got sponsored and I paid cost for everything . The installer knows what he's doing because's he's done lots of competition systems.

Looks like that box can't be more than 1 cube for each sub. L7's usually love BIG boxes...that's the only reason I was concerned. Looks great, I'll bet it would sound alot better though in something like a 3 cubic foot box. Doubt you're getting the full potential out of those killer subs, if you're not competing though, I guess it's not a big deal. Have you gotten it metered yet?

I haven't found a place or someone w/ a DB tester. It probably would sound better if it was in a bigger box but I want to be able to display my setup. If the box was any bigger I would have to do something about those back seats.

I understand what you're saying with the space situation. Still looks very clean and those subs are some of the best for the money. Is the box covered in vinyl?

Yes the box is covered in vinyl. They matched up the vinyl perfect too. The color is the exact same as the interior in the back.

L7's like big boxes, but they don't need it. If i remember correctly kicker made the 12's to use .88 cu. ft. per sub. So you don't NEED a whole foot.
