VOTE/POLL! Tail light Conversion...

Hey guys, I'm not sure if you remember me but I fiberglassed my entire interior and posted some pics up not too long ago. I also added some ducts to my front bumper via fiberglass.. Anyways, I'm getting bored of not doing something. I worked on the glassin project for 2 years, and I think my dremel and orbital sander are getting lonely.

I was thinking of a cosmetic change again. Instead of the interior, I'd do something on the car's body. Like a taillight conversion...

I was thinking of either:
A) Supra tail-lights - Setback is that almost everyone who does a taillight converion chooses these.
B) Talon taillights- I honestly LOVE these. They look much better then the Eclipse tails I currently have. I think they would look pretty good on a 2nd gen body. They're rounded and smooth, rather then pointy and retro.

I'm leaning torwards the talon lights because:
A) would be cheaper then supra lights
B) Would be VERY unique for shows to share tailights with another DSM of previous generation.
C) Would fit better. Looking like it actually belongs there more then 'put there'.
D) Smooth curves would match well with my body and body kit.


What do you guys think? I've always wanted supra tails, but once Talon's crossed my mind,it became a dilemma.

I just need a winter project. If you guys can give me your thoughts that'd be great. Basically, which would you like to see on a 2gb ? Supra or Talon tails? Damn, thats going to be bias..

There was someone with G35 tail lights in the classifieds, it looked sexy. But the Talon tails are gorgeous too.

talon tails would be a lot cheaper and would bolt right on. supra tails would take lots of work and money....i believe they do make kits so the supra tails "bolt on", but that probably doesnt work too well, nor would i want to try that. TALON TAILS FTW.

Talon tails are almost the exact same thing. Different color schemes of course. If you were gonna put the time into it wouldnt you want something different? and yes i do agree everyone does supra tail conversions. I have stock 2G tails with a color matched center piece and i think that looks bomb digity. Anyways thats just my 2 cents

If you're going to do a custom taillight conversion.. the only way I'd go is with LED's. Not too many available to choose from that would be fitting.. G35/350Z are the only two that immediately come to mind.

Easy. Talon tails. Much nicer than the stock eclipse ones. But you will need to fab up a bumper or buy a talon one. But that would definetly be the way to go.

No, two totally different tail lights. The talon has the plate between the tails and the eclipse has it in the bumper. It has been that way since 1992 so you must be mistaken. I am a talon fan and my favorite is 97-98 so you know which way I am leaning.
