Hi,
The stock sideskirts on my 96 GSX are gapped slightly on the drivers side. Only the part on the actual door really. I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of what it looks like or if anyone knows if it is all just clips holding it on. I bought some new clips, but I don't really wanna tear it off before I know what I am getting into.

Thanks,
Alex

I got sideswiped last x-mas, and found the sideskirts were all held on by clips, however, some people/body shops may have also used adhesive in the past if/when repairing it.

true. Thanks for the help.

does anyone know if they are pull out clips or like slide out or what. A diagram would be awesome if you havea pic or something thanks.

I would say pull them out, and if the clips break, just replace them for like $1 a piece. Just be careful about scratching paint and putting too much pressure on the molding, you wouldn't want to snap it.

My dad and I tore the sideskirt off of my driver's side about a month ago... the clips slide into place on the sideskirt and then the sideskirt just snaps on to the car. Some of the pieces that keep the clips in place on the sideskirt were cracked and falling off, but hot glue fixed it. It's a pain in the butt and most of the clips on my sideskirt were completely busted off, but we found replacements at Advance. I don't have any pictures, but good luck.

Thats correct. My side skirt has been hanging off since I bought my car because the previous broke the clips. I had a thread with a pic of it up a while ago but im pretty sure I deleted it. Try searching for "How do I fix this (sideskirt)"
