paiting the heat shield in engine compartment

has anyone painted their heat shield in their engine compartment? I have a turbo kit in there as well, and Im not sure if high temp paint would stand the heat or not. Any ideas on painting it or maybe where to buy one already red?

I'm sure high temp paint would be fine being I've painted mine and a friend's with just regualr paint, no problems whatsoever and it's been about a year. So I'd say no worries.

BBQ paint is your friend. It'll come off eventually, especially if your prep beforehand isn't good. But it's cheap. 8)

I used 1200 degree engine paint on my heatshield. Came out really good I think, considering my heatshield has the rust problem. You can get a can of engine paint at any autoparts stores or even walmart for less than 5 bucks.

just bought some 1500 degree paint for mine at advance auto, autozone and pepboys should carry it as well.
