Customizing idea

Ok here is an idea/ dream i had and it looked pretty good. has anyone put 2g tail lights on a 1g i know there will be some metal work done and hell that one bother me. i have the cutters and welders and all the body tools to do it so what do you guys think how would it look ???

Ive never seen it. Im not sure if the curve/contours of the tail lights would really flow with the rear of a 1g. Try getting 2 pictures from the gallery, (one with a 2g and one of a 1g) and make sure they have roughly the same angle of a shot in the picture then ask the photoshop forum to put the tails on the car. It will give you an idea of what it would look like.

yea i agree, think about how it would look, the 1gs are squarish in the back, and you're wanting to fab up very curvey lights that angle in on the ends, i think it would

1~be ALOT of work put into it, because you would have to basically change the whole back end
2~in the end, you probably wont be satisfied.

not trying to cut you down, i'm all in for new mods that work, but this might be a little too much

It shouldnt be too bad (work wise). I mean i am in the middle of putting on 2002 accord projectors in the front and just bought 350Z tail lights that i am molding into the back. I think it would look good, and it should make your car one of a kind in the end. If you like the idea then go for it.

i dont know about eclipse tails... but i think talon tails might be possible

well i am no stranger to fabricating what so ever ive done alot of change around stuff im not worried about the work involved i would just want to see how it would look i think a one of a kind back end would be cool and to see how many people who dont know what they are doing mess it up would be funny. Speaking of fabrication i just got inside to check to see what people said about this one and im working on a set of suicide doors for a 2g.
