AT shift knob/bar

Just looking to find out if they come out easy and can be replaced with an aftermarket one? Anyone done this?

with or without push button for overdrive?
if so LEVOC makes a pretty nice shifter knob kinda pricey though and you can get a matching e-brake handle.

i've tried, and it was such a pain in the ass for me that i gave up and put the stock one back on. But in my case, i ordered one from MachV. The problem was that, the two wires inside the shifter, didnt come placed inside two channles that ran down the inside of the shifter, and i didnt know they were supposed to. So when i slid it on, the wires shaved, and shorted everything when they touched the metal shaft on the shifter. So from my personall experience, i wouldnt try, just leave the stock one.
