So i have white aftermarket tail lights (not sure where they came from, it was on the car when i bought them.) Well it looks hot with the silver paint...but the color of the lights are always a little ligher shade of red than the brake light on the wing is. Since the tailights are a white-ish clear color there's not much i can do about it.

So can i 'shave' the brake light on the wing off? is there alot to removing the light and the wiring? just curious.

If you get LED bulb replacements, the tails probably would not be such a light color.

good point...i could just disconnect it...

as far as the LEDs...i might have try that...### right now the lights are almost a pinkish color.

I had the same problem with mine, use L.E.D.'s and get load resistors. that will take care of it. Only problem now is when I have my parking lights on, its hard to see the brake lights and turn signals, they work, its just really faint.
