light around key thing

i was sittin in my car today and i realized that the orangish color aroud the key thing is just freakin ugly.. everything inside of my car is black and red.. even the gauge lights and all.. i just havnt been able to figure out how to change that one light.. actually.. im just to lazy to think about it so if anyone has any options or have the exact know how on how to do it i greatly appreciate it.. thanks

Unfortunately I know how to change it. It is a very P.I.T.A procedure. First take off all the plastic around your steering column, you'll see that the plastic ring around the "key thingy" screws off, just unscrew it and you'll see the bulb. You could just cut the orange diffuser off of the light. Now its my turn to ask you a ? How did you change the color of your guage lights? Do you still have the factory gauges? I want mine to be white, or uncolored, whatever, what about the H.V.A.C controls?
