Help me fix my window handle

hey guys, the handle in my 2g broke off because the glue just wouldn't cut it.
i read in the owner's manual that there's a clip that connects to it, do you guys think the clip will fix my problem? ill give you the links to the pics i took

On manual windows, the clip is what retains the handle to the regulator. Yes, it will fix your problem unless the threads of the handle or regulator are stripped. Glue is not the right application for this fix. You can even get non matching replacement handles at pretty much any parts store and possibly just the clip.

Yeah, those little spring clips are what hold on the window winders of most cars on the road. They have packs of them at just about all parts stores. To install, you put the clip in the handle, line up the handle on the post, and punch it on with one good shot. To remove, put a shop rag around behind the handle between the door and the handle, and "saw" it out.
Nice mess with the glue, though.

I actually just found a link to a nice and simple removal tool for the clips. If I would have known this existed, a few cars I worked on in the past would have a few less interior scratches.

Also referred to as 'jesus clips', as if you take one off by pushing out one 'leg' with a screwdriver tip, usually the first words out of your mouth are 'jesus ****ing christ!' as it rockets away and ricochets off anything nearby, then becomes impossible to locate again. WTF There's a reason the parts stores tend to sell them in 50-count boxes.
