the 93 eagle talon i bought had some home put on window tint and well... its starting to come off and i don't really have the money to get professional tint. i was wondering if their was some great tint that wouldn't get the "melted" or peely or cheap ass look that i could buy, or could i order new windows for my car?

well just my 2 cents but rear hatch and 2 small side windows professional tint maybe $160 i would say max 200 for the 2 front ones to, i would say its much much cheaper to get it done then replace the windows, but as for do it yourself tint, never did have much luck with that stuff anyways

You can buy some nice 3M window tint from some stores or go to the Tint Shop and ask if you could buy some of their product. For professional results I would have them do the job. Good Luck.

I payed a fat ol $100 bucks for my tinting by the pro's. Guy said the corners were a pain and had to mold them with a hair dryer. And i have watched my buddies try to do there hatch windows and lets just say laying or bending back wards isn't the most thrilling event.

If I were you I would go ahead and try the front four windows on your own. Not sure what other people use but personally I used a mix of Johnsons no tears baby shampoo and water. It really just takes alot of patients but I did my own and it really wasn't hard. Just bought the tints you could buy at any murray's or autozone. The rear one however is very tricky You probably want to get that one done professionally. If you're fealing lucky though do the hatch in horizontal sections. Don't get to pissed if you can't get all the bubbles out, I tried but never got it right so I got mine done professionally for $80.

/ I agree its bout 15 bucks at advance to get a whole role. I started with the hardest part the corner windows and well lets just say i would rather pay the 100 for any DSM i own. It just wasn't easy for me. Maybe you got the touch. So ya try it first.. don't like it... pay for it done. Pro jobs do come out good. Better than i thought.

Thanks for all the feedback! I forgot to say their is a crappy decal "shadow" on my hatch window from the previous owner...so thats one of the reasons i really want to get it redone/ i am looking for tint like...not to me a tint copier or a stealer but like..

when i got my gsx the person before me had a HORRIBLE tint job. if anyone needs help getting tint off, take a razorblade, and take the blade out. start on a bubble pop it, and put the blade up under tint get a peice, and peel. it leaves the adhesive on your window, but to get that off eitehr use heat, wd 40 or adhesive remover.

I did my windows on my spyder and they came out pretty good but I wouldn't dare touch a back hatch window and I would consider myself pretty good with tint.I know its kind of expensive but I would really have that done professionally.

i did my whole car on my own with professional window film... only because i am a pro and that's what i do at work :D

i would say leave teh tint to the pros. I work at a tint shop and we cahrge at least $100 to remove the cheap crap once you mess up. it would be cheaper and look better just t opay to have it done.
