interior paint question

hey guys does anyone know from exsperience if the interior fabric paint is any good?I have the grey carpet and my entire car is almost done being fiberglassed and it is all red and black even the racing seats im getting are.so i want to paint the carpet black.

Will this stuff be good enough,does anyone know if it will fade or come off easily or does it stain the carpet good enough to last.any help would be nice thanks guys

I use to detail fro my uncle's shop/dealership back in the day and while carpet/upholstery paint is great for selling cars and covering stains,it will eventually fade.I would go with a black floor carpet.You can find them premade on line,or go to your local upholstery shop,if the car doesn't have any seats in it,it'll probably be cheaper for ya labor wise.

Theres a place that sells carpets precut for our cars. If I remember correctly they arent even that expensive. Ill try to dig up the site.

Thats where I plan to get mine. If you look up a thread called 1g refurb, orangetalon did a red and black interior in his car and bought his carpet from that link

i died my gray carpet black. guess what???? it's just dirty gray now. buy the carpet. it is like 150 shipped on ebay.
