I have a dumb question yet your answer depends on my DSM. Im 16 and growing..I am almost positive im buying a 95 GS-T. I havent had time to go to a mitsubishi dealer to sit in an eclipse. Im 5'11 currently and im sure I going to grow one or two inches more. So I'm not positive if im gonna be able to fit in one, if not im going to have to get a sypder

Yepp Im 6'6" and I fit fine, sucks for long drives cause your legs are spread by the steering wheel, but absolutly fine cruising or short trips.

I'm 6'1", but when I sit I'm taller than my 6'8" friend. I do okay with headroom. You'll be fine.

if you incline the seat bottom (up in front down in back) you can recline the seatback to get the needed space.

I am 6' 2", it really sucks on the long drives and whenever I drive with a helmet I am hitting/rubbing the ceiling, it gets annoying sometimes. Actually if I remember correctly I am sure that there was a review (8-10 years ago) that said that Eclipse was not for anyone over 5'10".

yep but they were wrong.

IT's all in setting the seat up right and comfortably, then tweaking the seat adjusters every 3 ours or so a little on those long drives.

If you upgrade your suspension to something stiffer, watch the bumps. I'm 5'11" and I smack my head occasionally.

if you have long legs as oppesed to those guys that are more of a long torso, broad shoulders it isn't bad at all.

I have gotten AIR under all 4 and barely hit my head in a sunroof car.

But then I used to drive little british convertables where your forehead while sitting and your waist standing were higher than the top of the windshield.

well all your posts counted guys thanks a bunch...to tell you a story..i wanted to find out for myself so i went to the nearest mitsubishi dealership and wanted to sit in a 2G..as i get there, i see a customer car(95 Eclipse GST).So i walk into the show room and i ask the dealer if they have any 95-99 Eclipses like the one out front. He goes uhh no we dont but if ud like i can sit you in a 05 spyder.*long story short*The customer was buying a montego and trading his GST in!!!So the dealer goes to survey it. And it only has 33k on it*orignal*.So the dealer is offering 5k trade in value. So i go in to find the guy who owns it and they are hiding him in the back cause they dont want me to buy it so they can sell it for more. I mean this car was mint. From the outside it looked pretty nice but relativly stock. Falken 18 inch Torque 5 Chrome rims. Lil to much bling for me but ill take it. Its really nice looking but they only thing i dont like is the cloth interior, but ill live. So i go in the dealership again and i go in the back and hes siting there. I tell him ill give him more for what they are asking so he can put money down cause they are rele low balling his car. So i tell him 6.5k which in my eyes its still a low ball but hey i could go more if he wanted to(it only has 33k).So i go back out i check out everything necesary(i.e crankwalk,turbo,bov,etc) all in really good condition so i offer him 6.5 k and he goes,"thanks man i really rather sell it to some1 who would appreciate it,besides now i can put more money down" so i look at the clock and its 5:50 and the bank closes at 6. So i tell him let me drive and ill have the money for you right now. Did i tell you guys im only 16 so he techincally has to drive with me legally. Lmao. \ So i get there in 5 minutes and i get him the money. and i drive him back he put more money down on hte car an di had to wait for my dad to come so i can drive it home . The Mitsubishi dealers wil lnever look at me the same. And to think i was just going there to sit in one Did i score or what?!

Seems like it worked out great for you, just find another Mitsu dealership when you need parts haha.

yea they are the worst representation of mitsu. I went in to look at an evo and i was like whats it do 0-60. The guy stood there like i had four heads and said i dunno but its fast and i wish had driven it cause it would be nice to say i did. Im like you make it sound like ur driving in a ferrai*retards*. but the car is sweet
