I basically just finished all my interior work to snaz up the car including painting and covers here and there. Now my big question is for my exterior. I plan on buying a body kit and wheels. I am absoluetly clueless however to putting a body kit on. I would like to get it put on by someone else and everything. Leave your opinions on which body kit and what wheels i should get put on. the cheaper the price the better haha

thank god for dsm forums.

no trouble deciding just a teenager with no money that wants to make his car look nice and then run nice haha

where would i get my body kit put on at after i order it?

find a custom shop or body shop, a place the does collision repair MIGHT be able to help you. You'd have to call around to find a place that will do it. I know a guy around here that paints cars, he also puts kits on, so finding someone like that would work.
iv done them all my self so i dont have any experience with custom shops

oh yah thats right, stating my opinion is not an option anymore is it? I just came into this post thinking i would see something even remotely original, and instead I see something that everyone and their mother has done to their poor poor cars.

Out of the few bodykits they make for the 1st gen which is only like 3...I agree with HighPsi92GST the drift is the best looking bodykit for the 1st gen, which is y i chose it. I also have z3 fenders on as well on my 94 eclipse. Sadly my car isn't around for me to show you any pics, its currently away getting painted up. I will have it in 2 weeks, and post pics. :thumb:

I've been considering the Drift kit for my own, or at least the front bumper... previous owner bashed it pretty good, lost a marker light in the process. And since Mitsu apparently wants $200 for a new one, and the Drift is only $240, I'm probably going to go with the kit.

Also, honestly.. the bumper isn't too hard to take off. Get a Haynes manual, or one of the Shop Manual On CD things, and it'll show you where the screws are to pull it apart. The real pain is painting it yourself. Thankfully, all of our color codes are listed here on the forums, so spraycan *is* technically an option, if you're good with them and know what you're doing.

As to the pictures... the red... I would have gone a different way. As fast as possible, no offense intended. It makes my eyes hurt.

The sad part is, I'm still going with a white/red/black color scheme on my own car, even if the red will only be in the cockpit as accent lighting, and possibly underglow, if I lose my mind that much... only because I've never seen a white car with red underneath. Only blue.

Gj poser, looking real nice.

Start working on the exterior, if you did all that interior work yourself, than your car will be lookin damn nice once u get some cash together and the body done.

Good luck.
