Hey, I'm interested in painting my rims on my stock 95 GSX. :dsm: The car is that dark green (dont know the exact name for it) and I think that gunmetal would look pretty nice for my rims. I'm just curious if anyone has any pics of their painted rims and if so how did you go about doing it. What kind of paint, how did you apply it, and anything that pertains to the topic. Thanx in advance to all replys :thumb:
 
Your best bet is to have them powder coated but after all that will be invested you could probly buy a nice set of aftermarket. If you just want something to last a couple of seasons you will need to remove the clearcoat (sandblast/paint remover) clean and then spray with some automotive type paint. I would then clearcoat it with this stuff from

Its works good, back in the day I did a custom set of IROC rims and they turned out good.
