blitz dual turbo timer

Anyone have one of these? To install it, did you modify the harness that came on it, or did you have to get one of these:

Which is the easiest route to go? Any help with the install would be appreciated too (instructions, pictures...etc) and I did search, but I didn't find anything that really helped me.

Get it, it will make your life and the install a hell of a lot easier. All you have to do is plug the harness in as opposed to splicing in wires and worrying about a loose connection or starting an electrical fire.

Sooo....just so I understand completely, I'll just get that harness, and I'll have to take apart the steering column, and there should be a plug for it right there?

Ok, another quick question about that Ebay harness...why do I have to know whether it has a factory alarm or not? Cause I'm not sure. It has a flashy light thing on the steering wheel (it's a 91 GSX). Is it necessary for me to specify? Like, will the harness be different?
