This ISN'T for my actual car, it's for an RC car I'm currently working on, it's a dark metallic grey/graphite/gunmetal color, and I'm wanting some ideas for what I should do for graphics on it. It was originally a F&F knockoff (blitz kitted, big wing, roof scoop, silver wheels, bright green) so I removed previous graphics and painted it, keeping the wing and the same wheels. I need some ideas here, it's boringly plain and I want it to be a bit brighter since it's kinda small and I want it to pull some attention... :thumb:

Cool. I have heard of those things. They are really fast right? Radio Shack sells something along those lines. I better not get into that hobby, sounds like its can get expensive and time consuming! Although maybe a good thing to take up duing the winter while the dsm sits!

it's fast for a $45-$50 car you can get at wal-mart (IF you can happen to find it), I'm a tinkerer, and do about anything with anything I can...as for the cost..yea RCs get on up there, my last rc car, which was an electric traxxas stadium truck, which ran me about $400 once it was all said and done.

but the reason I posted this here is that I want it to look like a real car, but be eye catching...kinda like a show car, the main purpose though is to keep it from being squished :/

When I still had my Electric RC car (I only have nitro powered ones now...) I had the HPI 2G body. Painted it charcoal metallic with a yellow stripe that ran lengthwise from tip to tail across teh hood hump. looked pretty good if you ask me, and it was a simple paintjob to fix up after a race. Ill see if i can find any pics of it, but I dont think I have any.

On a side note this was on a Hobby shop RC car kit, that cost about 300 just to get it running. then hop-ups went from there. I thik when I sold it I had put close to $1300 into it. My wife is glad I got out of Southern Cali and got away from the racing scene there.
Definately not a wal mart toy car. Top speed was clocked once at 79mph. then the curb jumped out....

I want a nitro car like that.... this cheapo rc I've got, once you get decent wheels on the back so it'll get traction(I retrofitted some stadium truck tires on the rear to get rid of the insanely bad rears.... I'm gonna do my graphics ricer style, vinyl over the paint, so it'l lbe asy to replace, and help protect the paint, I just need ideas of what to do, I'm amazed alot of these show people havent popped up with ideas....

umm, so yeah... we're gonna need to see some pictures of this high performance beast before we can help you any further with graphic ideas!! :thumb: :thumb:
