Ok ive been doing some looking and from what I gather I take it that most projector headlights are alot dimmer than stock. Anyways, I just picked up a set of black housing projectors for my 98 Eclipse and the light is alot brighter than my stock headlights. My question is that currently in my projectors it take H1 bulbs. Is there anyway for my to get a H.I.D for these without having to melt the glue and take apart my whole housing?

Here are the headlights:

(By The Way, The only actual light turned on is the Halo, the camera flash made everything else look lit.)

Short answer, no.

I have a friend who has a Xenon H1 H.I.D Kit he bought awhile back. Anyways, we took that and hooked up the Ballasts, Adapter & Wiring Harness and they hooked right in. They are bright as hell now and there was no melting of the housing or anything like that.

I think you could buy set of the HID kit and you could put it on. But here is the catch it wont look like the HIDs for audi, bmw, Benz..etc It is because the projector for that head light wont support HIDs. It wont be clear as it should be so best bet is to just change the projector that will support HIDs.

I could be wrong about this tho.

You sir are correct.

You can put in HID bulbs, but they will never be as nice as the real thing. You are taking a step in the right direction by using a projector housing, but you really should use a projector housing designed for the HID bulbs.
