Does anyone know where I can find a greddy decal like the one on this 350z? There is a guy on Ebay selling them, but his measure 54" X 8". That decal is a hell of a lot taller than 8". If anyone as any help, I'd appreciate it.

perhaps you could contact GReddy themselfs or take that picture to a sticker shop and have them whip you up a vinal decal for you.

Greddy.com > Online Store > Stickers.

Not sure if they have the same exact one, but they do have a few.

I'm doing some rather large hood and body decals, and I need an honest opinion. My car is black and I've done the interior in grey and red. Should I do the decals in red to match, or grey to stand out? I'd like to do red, but I'm afraid red on black will be too dark to see. Does anyone have an opinion? Also, If anyone has any example pics of ANY black car with a red or grey decal scheme, please post them. I'd like to see for myself what it would look like. Thanks again, guys.

I would just like to warn you that you are entering the lion's den when it comes to questions about decals.

On that note I think that the best looking decal on a Black car would be something in the grey area. Red will be gaudy.

I don't think it's a question of gaudy..........personally, I think either is kind of outlandish, but that's also the allure of it. I'd like to do the red, but I'm afraid it'll be hard to see. The grey is actually the color that I thought would stand out better. I think gaudy is a foregone conclusion when it comes to body decals.

I think that red on black is a bad contrast. It is not clean and it screams dracula. I really think that a grey or even white would look very clean. It's all opinions though and I really like clean cars that don't draw insane amounts of attention... To me it's the subtle things and details that make things look great.

There is a dude back home with a civic that has matte black decals on it. I think it looks pretty slick. You almost have to double take when you see it. They look really nice on a sunny day and a clean car, or under streetlights at night.

If i ever put vinyl on my car, i would definetly go with a matte 'ghost' image.

As said, this is pretty much a decal-loathing forum.

Red on black, once considered one of the most classic combinations, was long-ago taken over by those who read about taste instead of actually ever having any of their own. Avoid it.

Grey will depend on just what sort of decal you have in mind.

Bottom-line is that it's your car. Take lots of pictures so you can look back and hate yourself when you've grown up.

Wow, good job guys. I was expecting you to tear the kids head off. I dont think we should... decals are, after all, part of the racing pedigree. ( not rice, just decals. )

I feel that the only presentable or tasteful decal would be flat black/matte one in the same color as the body of your car. I would never do it but if you feel you must advertise for a company that doesnt compensate you, I'd go with flat black. "How much greddy do you actually have," is a question that comes to my mind and probably others and which you'll have to answer many times.

GREY GREY GREY.. just my opinion..
i have a black DSM and i did it in white and i think it looks good but i stripped it off cuz i want to go grey.. tell me what you think of the home made hood dacal im my gallery..
(its whit there but i'll make another one in grey to replace/ Injen or who knows what i might come up with)
