Ok well i had an after market cd player and it sucked ...static for even CDs!... so i went back to the stock infinity player that hooks up to the amp i put the fuse back in and it comes on sounding good but the front speakers arnt working???? i faded the speakers to the front and NO NOISE!! my old after market player worked with the front speakers fine... is this a problem witht the amp or the head unit... anything i can test to see??? NEED HELP PLEASE
thanx for any help
Sam

Check the wiring for the speakers. Did you have to re-wire the speakers when you first switched to the aftermarket head unit?

Or do you have the front output feeding into an RCA converter to feed the amp?

Did you try to take off ur stock infinity stereo and see if the speaker wires came undone?

wires seem fine.... the aftermarket unit was hooked up to the cable via a wiring harness and the amp was disabled... so quite possible the front speakers were connected directly to the din cable instead of the amp if thats the case would the head unit not be able to send a signal cause it HAS TO go though amp?!

when you have an aftermakret cd player in, they by-pass the amp because that infin amp only works with the head unit i believe...so you might want to try and check and see if you have the deck connected to the amp
